OUR MINISTRIES
Our goal is to encourage our members to create and take part in programs that serve not only our own congregation's physical and spiritual needs but the needs of the people of St. Thomas, Elgin, Ontario, Canada and the world.
SUNDAY
CAMP
Sunday Camp
All children 3-14 are welcome to participate. All teachers and volunteers are required to have a police check. Check out our Sunday Camp.
Nursery
The Nursery is located on the Sanctuary level and can be used by parents/caregivers for the whole service or just a few minutes.
Throughout the year our Outreach Team fundraises by holding events, managing concessions etc. At the end of the year they choose a number of causes in the community to support with the funds raised. In addition, they also hold three food-bank collections and a coat/winter accessories collection each year.

Youth
Tweens & Teens have their own Sunday Camp space and assist with projects and missions chosen by all the Sunday campers. Activities, movies, and outside trips are jointly planned and enjoyed with First United's Youth group. Check out our Tweens & Teens Page!
Music
Under the direction of our Music Director, Phil Hallman, the Senior choir offers all your traditional favourites with a mixture of contemporary music. We love to "Make a Joyful Noise unto the Lord!" Community Outreach
Through the Central Community Centre we offer space to many community groups such as, AA, AlAnon, New Beginnings, VON Smart exercises etc.
Central provided shelter for the Inn out of the Cold program for 12 years until they found a permanent home. Now we share space daily with Our Place Respite, a day program for Adults with Disabilities.
